The paramedical staff exam is conducted for the posts of inspector (dietitian), sub-inspector (staff nurse), sub-inspector (radiographer), assistant sub-inspector (pharmacist), assistant sub-inspector (physiotherapist), assistant sub-inspector (dental technician), assistant sub-inspector (laboratory technician), assistant sub-inspector (electro-cardiography technician), head constable (physiotherapy assistant/nursing assistant/medic), head constable (ANM/midwife), head constable (dialysis technician), head constable (junior x-ray assistant), head constable (laboratory assistant), head constable (electrician), head constable (steward), constable (masalchi), constable (cook), constable (safai karamchari), constable (dhobi/washerman), constable (ward boy/girl/ayah), head constable (veterinary), and constable (veterinary).
The paramedical staff exam consists of four stages: written test, physical standard test (PST)/physical efficiency test (PET)/documentation/detailed medical examination (DME)/review medical examination (RME). The written test is scheduled to be held on 12 December 2021 at various centers across India.
